Yoink is a drag-and-drop utility for the Mac that moves files, applications, and just about anything draggable to a destination. It works like a tray, allowing you to drop files one at a time or all at once and then send them anywhere on your computer. It was really fast.
By using the softwar, user can set Yoink to automatically appear when you drag items or move them to the edge of the screen, eliminating the need to open the application each time. To quickly recover deleted items from Yoink, press and hold the screen. To save your current clipboard content, double-tap the screen. Easy and hassle-free!
Customizable Size and Position
This is your tray, which you can place anywhere. Adjust the size of the window in the Yoink menu, from smallest to largest. Then, choose the best position for Yoink on your screen from six options. You can also customize the display behavior of Yoink in Settings > Behavior.
Finder-like operation
It is easy to use because it requires no strength. Based on the Finder’s file move and copy operations, it integrates seamlessly into your workflow. Just like in the Finder, use the Command key to force move items and the Option key to force copy.
Cross-Device Transfer
If you have Yoink installed for your iPhone and iPad, you can use the app to transfer text, files, and more between your Apple devices. Make sure your Mac supports Handoff to start transferring files between devices.
Combining Things for Easier Success
Drag multiple items onto Yoink, and they will automatically be grouped together. You can split teams, rearrange teams, or move teams entirely within the app—it makes your work more efficient.
Clipboard History
It can recall up to 20 items copied to the back. Enable the Clipboard History widget in the Notification Center to easily retrieve clipboard content from the widget or directly from Yoink via the context menu.
