Scapple program is a software equivalent to how I develop my ideas on paper. (If I hated the term “brainstorming” so much, I might call it “Brainstorming Software.”) I’m always in the early stages of any project, whether it’s writing or programming. I usually jot down a bunch of ideas on a large sheet of paper, separate unrelated ideas, group related ones, and try to figure out how they’re all connected by connecting them. In short, it’s a tool for capturing initial ideas and connecting them as quickly as possible. The biggest advantage of using Scapple instead of paper is that you’ll never run out of space (Scapple expands to accommodate any number of notes you want to jot down). You can move notes around to make room for new ideas and connections, and they’re easy to delete and edit. They’re also easy to transfer to other apps once you figure out what you want to do with them. Deckset for macOS
